I've got a friend selling a 2003 330i sedan -- automatic, sports package, moonroof, leather -- with 9000 miles on it. 9 thousand, full stop. He bought with 400 miles on it a few years ago, replaced all the rubber, and has been driving since. Always garaged. Totally immaculate. Looks like a brand new car. His wife loves it, but they just bought two Teslas.
He's asking $10K, which $3K over high blue book, but I can't find anything for sale to to compare it with. This car with this mileage simply doesn't exist.
What do you guys think? Is that a good price? Would that money be better spent on a more modern car? I don't know anything about BWMs other than they're sexy. Am I going to be pouring money into it? I don't work on cars myself.
That is an excellent price when considering the car's very low mileage.
If the car had 150k miles on it then $10k is too high.
Let's see it's a 2003, with probably very few repairs, now it's 2018. Certainly as you drive it more sure stuff is going to need attention. its only 15 years old, what could go wrong.
