Another update that took awhile. Welding the new steel for the trunk to the bmw metal sucked. But I ended up cutting the back-rest section out and adding a flat sheet in it's place. Didn't do tubing in the back yet, it'll come later. I also cut ALOT of material out (for the design I wanted) and than added the strength back with a square tube to connect the rear, rear subframe mounts. Originally I wanted to raise the battery location and leave it at that but it wouldn't have worked. So I built a "cage" for it, it may look like it hangs pretty low but the whole trunk has been raised. Now with more room I kept the trans cooler in the back and updated the design with a far better bracket and rubber mounts to isolate the vibration or hum from the fan. Which doesn't really matter since there's a huge whole in the trunk now. Which I thought would look cool to show the clean and refreshed subframe, some might like it some may hate it.

Continued
Bought some 243 heads and a circle D 3200 stall 258mm converter. Going with a bigger cam. Also every single bushing in the rear has been changed to poly besides the lower knuckle carrier bushing, that was just replaced with oem. And got a set of the Street Driven Industries toe and camber arms.
