Left blinker don't work but side and rear do blink repalce the bulb and nothing help

Have a good look at the bulb holder and mountings to confirm that the electrical connections are good
1999 2.8L Z3 Roadster,
2000 3.0L Z3 Roadster,

If you have a test light or voltmeter, make sure the bulb socket is getting power. Also check that the bulb you used actually works (in another socket).

Swap it to the right side and monitor the results. My left front blinker was always crapping out until I swapped the socket to the right. I've even tried replacing the socket with no effect. Swapping worked.
