2000 323i O2 incl issues.

BMW has a voluntary recall for some 1999 and 2000 models where the computer has to be re flashed with new software in order to recognize the 02 sensors. Before smog check . But mine does not fit the recall it figures. I have replaced the 4 02 sensors twice and still incl. Can I re flash the DCU with new software version? What would I need? Or can I install a used Dcu and EWS from a donor car same year and model version. Do I need the ignition key from donor car and under dash EWS transmitter as well? Not sure how much would be to have the BMW stealer re flash the computer with the new software. Thanks.

What brand of sensors have you been using and what codes are you getting?

I have no check engine light, the car runs great. It is the IM readiness that does not say O2 sensors OK. They stay on INC mode. I have driven the car following the oper sequence to reset the IM readiness a few times but can't get it to set the O2 sensors to OK.
I have used siemens brand sensors and cheap sensors but it doesn't change.
