    Help bmw e90 logic7 aftermarket radio

    Hello im trying to install a aftermarket headunit in my 2006 bmw 330xi i believe this is the one with logic7 stereo and i bought the wire harness hooked up color coded wires together pluged the harness into the bmw harness but my headunit gets no power not even when car is on. Some said i need to run the yellow wire from the radio to a constant 12v+ like a fuse

    Hi,

    It's not really possible to help as you've not mentioned which aftermarket head unit you've got. Once you identify it, contact the manufacturer for support and help. If they aren't any good, then contact a local reputable 12V electrician/installer and have them look at the unit and see if it needs any specific wiring etc and have them fit it if they feel they'd like to offer that service.
