2006 530 Xi Orange Brake Light and start/off assistance issue

Hi,

On our 2006 BMW 530xi and we are getting the following error messages:

- Orange brake light
- Start/off assistance inactive

When we plugged into the C310 OPC scanner, we got the following error:
- 2F0D Radiator blind activation
- 2A9 Crankshaft-exhaust camshaft correlation
- 2A1A Tank venting system function
- 2A2E Mixture control
- 2A2E Mixture control 2
- 5ED8 Reverse-gear switch (forward)

The car is long after warranty so trying to figure out what is wrong/needs to be replaced. Would someone be able to advise on the error codes?

How do I diagnose the orange brake light issue?

My 2010 528i is also randomly giving me the orange brake light and startoff assistance along with DBC failure. Shop says brake switch, but I replaced it and the problem is still there. Please keep us posted!

Those codes are read from the DME. You need to read the codes from the DSC module if you want to diagnose a DSC warning lamp.
