If it runs well and has no codes, there is probably nothing wrong to be fixed with your 1.9. With that many miles, it could have low compression, which a compression test would show. However the cylinder wear that causes low compression also causes oil consumption, and your engine is using almost no oil. A quart in 8,000 miles is negligible.
The Suzuki Swift is a light and lively car and it's CVT makes the most use of its power. It is not surprising that the 1.9 is no faster.
It would help to know when you got your Z3, how many miles it had at that time, and what you know of its maintenance history.
Change the transmission fluid if that has not been done - it takes ATF with a viscosity of ~75, not gear oil.
If the cooling system has not been replaced, that should be your top priority, or else a sudden loss of coolant could happen. See:
