So my clutch will not disengage when I press the pedal down. I have replaced the master and slave cylinders, bled it every which way I can, and it feels stiff enough..
however, when I look at the bracket while pressing the pedal down with my hand, I notice a bit of flex in the pedal bracket, not much, but maybe a couple mm... So I am wondering if its the dreaded cracked pedal bracket. Thing is, I dont see any cracks where people have described it to be.... thoughts?
After changing master and slave cylinders, and bleeding and bleeding and bleeding the slave, I think that its where it should be in terms of firmness. still not disengaging the clutch. The pedal bracket seems to have a LITTLE flex in it, but not much... like MAYBE a millimeter or two... Not sure if thats enough to be a problem... or if I should now be looking elsewhere for the problem like the pivot pin, throwout bearing, or shift fork. Any way to rule those out WITHOUT dropping the tranny?
Looks like you need to drop.
