    E90 330i Vs. E36 M3

    Don't believe the hype. Dude tried to do a flyby past me, saw this and I downshifted into 3rd.

    Halfway through 4th I was pacing him and I could tell he was WOT simply from the smell of his exhaust. I never passed him but I had to let off several times so I wouldn't get too close and/or rear end him.

    Don't believe the Hype about E90's being E36 killers.

    but if the racer farted with the windows down, would your nose be able to distinguish what is exhaust fumes, and what is his ass? that could surely affect your, right Blue?

    The amount of methane generated by the anus is directly proportional to the amount of BS a Stock E36 M3 is faster than the E90 330i.
    Bring your stock E36 M's to Issaqua on the 11th for the E30 get together, and we can run them.

    True, even the E46 330i ZHP is a lot nicer than the E36 M3 and almost as fast. Just doesn't have that low to mid range grunt.

    Well, looks can be more subjective than anything. I would still take an E36 M3 over an E46 or E90 330, (spent $24k on the M so a used E46 330 was pretty much in the ballpark), but again that's just a personal thought. Now, if we're talking about the E90 335...whole different ballgame, I'd love to have a turbo BMW!

    One thing is for sure, the E36 M3's performance was a benchmark at one time, but it has been caught up to and passed. Thank god for the aftermarket world of performance!

    The e90 does drive much better than the e36, but this is a kill story, not a my car drives better than yours.

    Ive had my e90 for almost a year and still dont like the way it looks.
