It looks like Duraflex makes some fiberglass ones for the E36 Sedan, I'd prefer plastic/poly personally though

whats a dry brake line? That looks useful.

Disconnect and reconnect and wont put air in your lines. Wow. Thats so cool.

It’s dry-break, they’re what’s used on heavy machinery for auxiliary attachments. Didn’t know they used them for cars, kind of cool. They still let a little bit of air but it’s negligible - but I wouldn’t want to keep disconnecting it unless it was absolutely necessary.

Yep, hopefully won't ever need to use it, but the previous an fitting threaded directly in at the firewall in combination with the previous abs delete set up made removing that hose to pull the trans a nightmare. I spent like 45 minutes just on that line making 1/16 of a turn at a time with a box wrench. Now it should be easy and take minimal bleeding which is good, because the hinson speed bleeder we put it sucks.

You definitely need one, but I'd go with Monster or Tick. This one came with the wrong fitting to the TOB and they wouldn't send the right one, my buddy got the same one and his had the right fitting but it was very poor quality and we ended up replacing it anyway, and it pulls air in through the swivel at the speed bleeder while you're trying to bleed it.

Might steal that wiring holder idea.

I stole it from someone else haha, took all of 15 minutes to weld some scrap steel to the cart and luckily had some scrap tube the perfect size. The hard part is going to be keeping them nicely spooled once the plastic comes off, I might have to drill holes around the spools like how mig wire comes

Starting to figure out some wires
    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Engine bay harness is done, needs a little zip tie organization still. Engine harness is also all hooked up with 58x converter, flat touch knocks (re pinned PCM) and other extensions.
    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Theoretically I'm done in here other than throwing the intake on and plugging in the headlights/fan once they're on
    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Installed the HARD rear block offs and painted the package tray
    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Starting the fuel cell mounting but I ran out of material

Racepak mounted, I mocked it up in the factory dash, should sit just right and look nice in front of the HARD cluster delete panel
    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Racepak harness made and ready to install, the blue wire needs to go with the fuel pump wiring to the trunk so it is not loomed yet, and the final location of the switches for the other two wires wrapped up still needs decided.

I bought one of those little dry breaks for my trans, too. What a great idea.

Swapped out the Bimmerworld RTABs for the Nerp Offsets. Last season I was only able to manage to get 1/8" toe out in the rear, so hopefully this is enough to get some toe in. If not, We'll be adding the Xcessive offset brackets.

    This beauty finally arrived!!!

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Swapped the old Condor bushings over and mocked it up. It's going to take some clearance work, but not as much as I was expecting.

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Also got the rest of the wiring mostly ran, need to hook up the battery and test everything before I pull and loom it all but caught up in daily work this week. Also got the Radium FPR mounted and fuel line stuff ordered, so that should be happening soon!

    4.12 gears installed to start

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Realized its going to have to come back out to get the arms bolted up but no big deal, just good to know the clearance is taken care of.

Arms are installed and sub is back in. We decided to start with the supplied 4.12 gearset and go from there so went ahead and filled it. Damn thing takes almost 4 qts!

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Battery box is in and cabin wiring is done, just need to make the single harness to the trunk.

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Starting on some fuel lines, Radium regulator mounted.

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

got the new nose panel trimmed and installed, starting to make oil cooler lines

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

new remote filter mount with gauge port in it

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Turn1 custom PS pump showed up!

    Untitled by novablue454, on Flickr

Fuel cell mounting is almost done. Just need to mark / drill / riv-nut the top edge to bolt the fuel cell down to it. Also has mount for small sprayer tank and fuel pump relay box on it.

I wouldn't mount the oil filter relocation setup in the in the wheel well like that. IMO any fluids/ coolers/ lines should be mounted between the frame rails whenever possible for safe keeping.

It's been there for 3 years. It's for sure not an ideal spot, but the damn thing is massive and there's really no where else to put it. I really wish these companies making swap pans would just put the damn filter on the pan (like the holley 302-1) but for some reason you have to deal with running -10 lines through headers and mounting filters and crap. Dumb.
