Anyone try one of these before?

my plastic fitting broke right at the oil filter housing. hose looks to be in good shape part number 11537566329. The link above only replaces the fitting at the end of the hose.
Also was wondering if one of these would work.

It seems these are popular with the 1 and 3 series crowds but not the 5ers. was wondering if any one knew if these two fittings are interchangeable. Does anyone have the ability to compare the diameters of the 5 sereies hose and the hose on the 1 and 3 series cars?
For anyone interested, I'm pretty sure the parts are the same. Here is what I found.

Got hose connector today and the install went well. The 1 and 3 series n54 hose connector does work on the 5 series n54.
Looks like that would do the job better than the OEM plastic junk.

Yes, you can also use existing hose if it is still in good condition. In order to get the a replacement plastic fitting, you have to buy the entire hose and fitting together. You. Can get these super cheap on eBay too. I think I saw some for as low as 5$ If you can wait for them to ship from Asia.
