10.25 Android Nav unit

I purchased what I thought was a OS 8.1 Android head unit. When checking the system settings, the "Frame Version" is 8.1 the OS version says 4.4

Is this normal or is this not really 8.1?

Sounds like false advertising on the part of the seller or failure to read the details on your part. Android 4.4 is no longer supported by the android community.

The vendor claimed the FrameVersion was the OS version. I just wanted to be certain before I rip it out of my dashboard to send back.
