Hay man love the car I have an Alpine White with the stock sport package rims and I bought a grill that is black like yours with the tri motorsport colors. I do like those M6 rims, only thing you need now is spacers in the back to fill in that wheel well gap. I need the same too and thinking about getting wider tires all the way around. What else are you going to do to yours, check out my thread "New Owner of a 2010 BMW"?

Thanks for the kind words. I have some exhaust work I would like to do and, I want to change the chrome tips to black. I would like to change my headlight housings too. Or, at least change the lenses. I can't find them anywhere.

I did exhaust work to mine as well, I did a resonator delete and true x-pipe. It sounds good however, there is room for improvement, I will also do a muffler delete and ask them how i can make the exhaust note a little deeper while being loud? I took my car to an exhaust fabrication shop, they did all the work right there and had my car back with-in the hour. I will try to post some pics from my phone on to here, to show you how it looks.

I am going to do something similar. I don't want it obnoxiously loud either. I want it to sound good at idle and when I hot the gas.

I am having new headlight lenses put on as we speak. The once that are pictured were beat up. The fog lights are led's. I did change the fog light housings and the turn signals. New light lenses on these cars really freshens them up.

I finally had the resonator delete and X-pipe put in. TBH I am disappointed. The X-pipe rattles when I make turns. I think it needs to be braced.

Bit late for you - but there is a very cheap way to keep the OEM exhaust AND make it sound a whole lot better:

I put a custom Magnaflow system on my '06 650i...X-pipe, mufflers and 3" tubes. Very happy, runs good, sounds great. About the same price as the retail systems available but with much better components and installation included.

I've been going through a bad time with my BMW. Shortly after I had my X-Pipe done I hit a raised manhole on a road that was being paved. It took a double shot. First I hit the manhole at about 15 mph than I hit the seam in the road where the milled part of the road meets the paved part. The car is messed up. Im waiting for the body shop to give me the full damage report.

I took as many pictures as I could with the cover in place. So far I know the stabilizer and the cradle were badly damaged. The car ran fine which surprised me. When I checked the fluids the oil had run up the dip stick and drained back down to normal which concerns me. So we shall see.......I hope it can be repaired.

I just realized I had not updated this thread in a while. The car was fixed and all is well. I needed a new sub frame, Active Steering rack, control arms and a bunch of brackets.

Question, did you file claim with the city for your damages? This happens a lot, two weeks ago driving in the streets of NY, Brooklyn to be exact, I fell into a pothole and it damages my thrust arms on my 540.

@Timm The video you linked to above doesn’t work any longer, and I think I speak for many E63/64 owners when I say we’d love to know how to make the stock exhaust sound a little better without sacrificing BMW originality or quality. Do tell please! 🙏🏼

Yes, my insurance company filed a claim on my behalf.
