That error is related to the key/ews communication which is necessary to start the car. The screen shot also indicates that the battery voltage is 10.1v which is way too low. You need to charge the battery (or replace it if it is old) before proceeding with anything else.

Does the car crank and not start, or does not crank? The voltage is as mentioned very low.

I charged the battery and the voltage is at 12.4 volts. The battery is only six weeks old. It tries to crank over but won't start. I may have messed something up in inpa...Is the there someway to reset the EWS or what would you recommend trying? Again I appreciate the feedback more than you realize.
What exactly did you do with inpa? Did this problem happen before or after you used inpa?

Go to DME (MS43), in the menu select SHIFT+F6 (EWS sync procedure). There are then two options - F1 and F2. Hit F1, wait until it is confirmed by a pop up window, confirm by OK. Hit F2, wait until it is confirmed by a pop up window, confirm by OK. Turn the ignition off for 15 seconds and then try to start the car.
