I plan to change both seat covers and carpets after the holidays
I need to know who makes the best quality and perfect fitting covers and the same for carpets, I will have to remove the seats to do the job, is there anything tricky about that I need to know.
Seats are easy. Four bolts and the wire harness. Carpet is a job. Console, under dash trim, trim behind seats, gas pedal, kick panel trim, sill trim, and HVAC system (if you do it correctly, I just cut the carpet)
I figured the carpet would be a big PITA but I was hoping that someone made carpet sets that are a perfect fit for the car. I had a 280Z some years back and I got a carpet set that was an absolute perfect fit, it was a better grade of carpet then came with the car and it even came with instructions, just cannot remember who made it tho.
What does that mean, might I set the bag off accidentally
For a Florida car, you will be very fortunate to replace the carpet without replacing at least some plastics. Mine are extremely brittle and my car has been in NE FL the whole time.
