On the way to work the center bearing finally broke loose. I tried milking it home but going up a small incline required a little gas and it went from thump thump to a jackhammer so I pulled over and got a tow truck. A mechanic got under and took the picture.
I could probably have the front half machined and get a GM universal put in but the fact is there aren't any drive line balancers here and so even if I do get a new center bearing it will only break again. The mechanics here that installed the center bearing two bearings ago put it together out of phase.
There are no center bearings or complete drive shafts in Kuwait so it looks like it will be scrapped.
I've got one here on the east coast of the US allready pulled if you want to pay what I assume will be ridiculous shipping costs....It has a new carrier bearing on it too. $300 boxed and brought to a shipping store near me.

What do you mean finally broke, did it have symptoms for a while? They dont usually fail without giving some indications.

It has had vibration for some tome due to the mechanics that changed the center bearing two bearings ago installed the shafts out of phase so it had a fast vibration at about 35 kph and 70 kph before going away.
I will pass on the drive line but thanks.
There are other issues like the transmission slipping so I was going to have a shop here change the filter and clean the screens that get clogged and the front shock mounts are completely shot from hitting speed bumps here which are everywhere.
