E28 M54 swap?

im in the midst of swapping an m54 into a e28 5 series and was wondering if anyone on this forum has seen or done one of these swaps and could give a little guidance on it?
wiring, transmission mounts, gauge clusters, anything that i might run into with a problem while im not so far ahead! THANKS!

I am in the middle of doing the same swap.
So far I get the fuel pump to work when I turn on, but can't get the starter to turn the engine over.
It doesn't even fire the solenoid.
I was wondering how did you make out with your swap?
If you have any wiring notes that you can share?
