Hi everyone!
Need help!!
Changed my gm5 module after i failed soldering relays due to central locking stopped working. Bought a replacement module with exact matching numbers and coded it with ncsexpert correctly. Now central locking is working again (had to reinitilize key fob for remote manuvering) but now only right rear power window is working. I have tried sending active signals via inpa but no success Anyone have an idea what i've missed? My car is a e46 320ia sedan 2003
Thx
Fredrik

I'd have to guess that you bought a faulty used GM5 module. I'd recommend that you contact, and send one of your 2 modules, to this well-known business:

i bought a gm5 off EBay and its same yr and model as mine 2000 (323i) and installed it fine but when I took it to Concord BMW Dealership I was told by tech that you can't code gm5 to key FOB if it is from another vehicle.
Wtf is that all about?
why are there so many for sale on EBay if you cant use them with key FOB??
It's BMW's way of keeping the insurance companies happy, and to cut down on chop shops.
I would see about finding a local Independent BMW shop, as they would be more willing to re-code your GM5.

Already fixed it myself - key FOB works perfect and didn't even have to code it !
Dealership lost my business and my trust. Not the right way to do business in my opinion and if you are gonna lie right to my face,at least make it sound plausible.
But telling me he has never heard of anyone being able to do it and that he swears it's not possible, can't be done,is a load of crap.
Unless you live in a cave and cannot read or are severely retarded all you need to do is search online forums like this one.
So it would have been a better move just to tell the truth, we dont do that here-we only sell new gm5 modules and will not re-code used ones -sorry
