Hi all,
Lost heat in the center vents recently on my 2000 BMW 540i. Pulled the access panel on the side to look at where the temperature control bowden cable hooks up to the mechanism and it seems where the other bowden cable connects has broken. Looked around and couldn't seem to find the other cable in the area. Does anyone have a picture of the are and what it should look like, or what color the other cable should be? Also can this mechanism be purchased from BMW or is it just part of the heater duct part #64118377768. If anyone can direct me with photos or the proper diagram from RealOEM that would be great.
Here's a photo of what the area looks like, any help would be appreciated:

I found this video online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOl7f6QS6Bg Doesn't look like anything is broken on yours.

Thanks for the video! Probably should of checked YouTube first haha. Guess that's not my issue
I'm getting no heat from any of the center vents, but defrosters and lower vents give me heat. Only cold air from the center vents when the dial is switched to red.
Any other ideas of what to check for this type of issue?
How does the lever feel when you move it? possible the flap has broken inside the box.
