Wow didn't know someone else was making them, $175 is good price. How are feeling so far? Did it get rid of any shimmy? I have a set of moose head waiting to be installed also, along with suspension refresh.
Kinkedchrome, dm sent.
Installed, professionally aligned and road tested, major improvement from stock and from powerflex, highly recommended, I'm thinking of buying another set for my e53

I talked to the seller and it turns out he's local, his shop is not too far from mine! I'm going to head over there on Monday and check out how the monoballs feel in his E38. It's looking like a good option to solve my thrust arm bushing woes, once and for all.

They completed eliminated the 40-45mph shimmy on my E38. The Moosehead parts are a great looking part, no one else that I have found offers a design like they have for the BMW market.
I'm glad you enjoy them, I'm constantly paranoid that people will think they increase NVH too much. Let me know on the second set.
Thanks! I tried to keep them priced competitively, but admittedly they are not as pretty as competitors without the anodize coating and laser engraving. Though part of the reason I did not coat them is that the anodize can affect both the OD and the ID of the part, and suppliers don't always do it the same for every batch. Not anodizing takes one variable out of the tolerance stack and lets me control the feature size better for both press fits. Or at least that's what I tell myself.
Hopefully we can get you sorted out! I have a set of 540i arms with monoballs installed and ready to go if you end up liking the way it feels.
For anyone else that is interested, I made these for both V8 and I6 E39's. I'm almost out of the V8 parts, but I still have plenty of the I6 parts left. I am currently in the process of building control arm monoballs and they will be ready to ship in a couple of weeks.
