    335i Cooling for Race Track

Has anyone been able to successfully cool a 335i with DCT for endurance racing? From everything I've read the possibility of going into limp mode while on the track is almost guaranteed. Even with upgraded radiator, oil cooler, and DCT cooler it looks like there's no solution that really works. And there's only so much room in the front of that car to put coolers. N54 and N55 seem to have the same problem and the DCT also has issues if not cooled.

If anyone has any real world experience with this (good or bad) I'd love to hear it. I need to be able to go 8 hours with nothing more than fuel stops.

If I can't find a solution my alternative is to go with the S65 powered M3 which is considerably more money and not really necessary for what I'm doing.

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Are you running stock boost?
How intense/frequent are the stop/starts in this race?
What is the ambient temperature expected to be?

8 Hours. Intense for the stock transmission. I get heat-soak so fast it's not funny.
With the stock Transmission, front-right (stock/sport) intercooler and XHP Flash, Stage 3, if I do a 2 second brake-boost my Trans oil raises 20+ Celsius.
In the summer with traffic driving I can hit 100c. I tend to lighten up on the Trans over 100c.

Granted I've doubled stock boost and not running much more to cool besides stock.

Is it just the DCT your concerned about over the 8 hours? (not turbos, intake air temp, coolant temp, etc?)
