BMW e90 n52 330i code p1554

Hi need help engine gaskets was replaced,sump and tapper cover vanos solenoids was also cleaned now car is giving error p1554 even after switching vanos solenoids it gives the same warning code p1554 original BMW twin turbo oil was used any help would be appreciated...tnx

P-codes are useless at best, and usually grossly incorrect. You need to have the BMW specific diagnostic codes, in words, from a BMW specific diagnostic tool. Keep in mind that whoever labeled P1554 had no idea what vanos is; he's a bureaucrat sitting behind a desk in Washington DC, and rides a bus to work.

hi guys did drain the new OEM BMW twin turbo oil 5w30 replaced it with shell 10w40 car I'd driving fine and the error p1554 didn't reappear on my scanning test will do some more driving and update u guys...
