Broken Blower Motor spring clip mount.

Hi, I'm replacing the blower motor right now for my 86 325e. However, the little plastic bracket that holds the metal clip (securing the blower motor) is broken, and any time I try to put any extra stress, if the clip gets pushed side to side at all, it falls out. I'm not sure how I'd replace this sort of thing. How could I get that clip secure so the blower motor could stay in place?

Anything in this image look familiar? Useful? You may have to figure out how to zip-tie it in place.

The section of plastic that the clip seats against is part of the IHKS housing. If it has been damaged you would have to replace the complete housing assembly.
