Car shakes after a long drive

    Hello guys,

So I have started noticing that whenever I come to a stop after driving for 30 mins or so, the car shakes which I can very well feel it. No rpm jump. It stays still around 600-650 rpm.
Its 2011 335i 6spd. MHD stage 1+ with new plugs and coils. No code or unusual behavior while driving.
    Any clue ?

I would start by monitoring for misfires under the threshold to throw a code.

So, you come to a stop. Put it in neutral, release the clutch, put the hand brake on, release the brake pedal and shut off?
At which point does it shake?
Is it just a 1 second shake, or continues?
Only after driving for 30 minutes?
    Details bro

No codes. It doesn't sound like a misfire - the car kind of shakes enough to be felt.

I come to a stop. Put it in neutral. Clutch released. No handbrake. Car still idling.
It's not 1 sec shake, it continues atleast 30 secs.
Funny part is, it doesn't happen always.

You noted it does this after 30 minute drives.
Will it also do this at each light in the city after the car is warmed up?

Just trying to hone in on the most likely culprit. Timing recover, gummed up VANOS, poor injector, etc.

Do you happen to have a JB4 installed? If so, log this and upload. It may shed some light (fuel pressure, etc).

Just because you asked I remeber, Once the car is warmed up, I think I get that similar shaking at the stops.
I have MHD stage 1+ with FMIC.
I will try logging and upload once that happens next.

Vanos was cleaned few months ago. Never had a code for vanos- that was just a preventive maintenance thing that i did.

I'm not as familiar with the MHD logs, but if something is too far out, I imagine we'll see it.
Ensure logging starts prior to the issue as well, driving, slowing, stopping.

Any scanner with live data can monitor misfires.
    Are you gonna eat that?

Problem is I don't think the DME is sensing it. So it won't report it to a scanner. I've got INPA, ista and typical ELM type scanners. I've reset adaptations and watched the rough running data. I can watch the rpm do a little dance but the DME doesn't seem to register anything as wrong. But I could be missing something obvious. So I asked.
