    2008 BMW 750i Tranny Issue

New to the forum, but not Bimmer issues.

My wife's 750i has a strange problem that I cannot solve, even after searching for a few days now.

When you press the gas pedal, the navigation screen has "lines" that run through it, the gear selector letters disappear, the car bucks and jumps, and the rpm's shoot up to 3K....

I've replaced the IVM hoping that was the issue, as I found several cold solder joint cracks on the board.

Any ideas? My next thought was the mechatronic sleeve leaking?

    Help!!!

My dumb first suggestion would be to check the transmission fluid level. Low fluid can make the tranny do all sorts of weird things.

I know this was asked 3 weeks ago but it sounds like the crankshaft position sensor is going bad.
