    1999 BMW 328i Sedan

    Leaking Oil From Top Of Engine?

    So I opened up my hood and there seems to be oil leaking out from the top of the engine.

    I opened the cover and see this.

    Why is this happening? Is it the head gasket?

    What a big mess.

    If it was me I would brakekleen the oil off and buy a new oil cap then monitor.
