    Stereo help for newb

I have a 2002 BMW Z3 3.0 I'm going to replace the kick panel speakers with 5.25 2Ohm speakers. But the 4in rear speakers I want to run are 4ohm. My head unit amp is rated to run at 2ohms or 4. I want to run it at 2ohms. If I run it at 2ohms what will happen? Will I loose power on the 4ohm rear speakers?

Yes. And over-heat the power amplifier. You always need to match the amplifier and the load.
