Not the jump solution as that bypasses the relay. The proper standalone solution is just to trigger the relay. Should be a direct wire up replacement, unless the GM ECU fuel pump activation is switched-power not ground-switched. If the GM ECU is not ground switched, then just ground the other side of the relay activation coil. No reason to delete / bypass the fuel pump relay.
