No longer an owner of an 8 but glad I dropped by for a visit. Yours is easily my favorite version of the platform and so well restored. Very pleased to have dropped by for a forum visit this morning.
Just a thought. The front wheels seem to have a bit of a pushed back caster appearance. It may be the camera angle or just me not seeing it right. Are you sure you have the correct lower control arms on it?
You may feel a little more high speed stability with the wheels pushed out some. Man that's a nice looking 8. Way to go.

Hi Dan - yes, it is just the camera angle. When I get a chance, I will take some better photos. It is back in the ship today for a final re-wet sanding on the hood. With it being carbon fiber, it can show anything. We are going to 2500, then buffing again. It should be ready by tomorrow.

Ok - Amazing. Love the paintjob, and what a great color. How much of the work did you do yourself?

Amazing Job Rog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a guy local to me - about a mile away. No - not in my garage. His specialty is older Jags - 120's, 140's and XKE's. He also just did some work on his 3rd 8. I teased him that he was changing from Jags to BMW's. He has done my Alpina as well as the CSi, which is patiently waiting it's turn.
