Unusal voltage at interior light feed

Hoping maybe someone has had experience with a similar issue:

Tach and fuel economy gauges do not work, all others do.
Radio memory not working, resets to "code" when key is turned off.
Interior lights do not work, and I measure ~2vdc at the constant power feed at both passenger and drivers fixtures.
Trunk light does not work, and I measure ~6vdc at it's constant power feed.

So it appears fuse 21 is common to all of these devices, but the fuse is good and is hot at all times. As a test, I did backfeed the trunk 12vdc feed directly from the battery with no change in the ~2vdc at the interior lights (I was attempting to eliminate any unseen problems at the fuse block).

    Any ideas or thoughts?

    Thanks

First double check voltage at the fuse by reading voltage on both sides of the fuse. You shouldn't see any substantial drop. With that eliminated, I'd guess you have an issue at harness splice S319 as shown on page 0670-9 in the ETM and location shown on 8000-2. You do have to remove the seat and move the carpet to inspect it.

Problem solved! Another problem with the S319 splice. Now all interior and trunk lights work, as does the more importantly the tach! Really appreciate this forum and all that share their knowledge. For others, this link helped me greatly in locating the actual splice location: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...is-this-splice

Same fix for me...I don't understand how my tach worked intermittently and OBC always worked before i changed my nearly dead SI batteries.
After new batteries soldered in; no tach or OBC.
here's a photo of how I found the red/gn wires at splice s319...looked like it's been like this since new.
