    Oil Leak

I have a 2007 328i with an N51 engine. Yesterday it started dumping oil all of the sudden. When I traced the leak it was coming out from the bottom drivers side of the part circled in the pic. I've searched and can't figure out what that part is. Any insights into replacing it or a component in it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mc...JiDdw-U4JN_VZV

That's It, Thanks! Of course the special tool to do the job is more than the part. Oh well, the BMW tax.

I have yet to replace vacuum pump on the e90, not that it can't be leaking, take a second look, the oil filter stand gaskets leak all the time.

Exactly what he said. Vacuum pumps don't leak oil on that engine.
