    BCM reprogram for LED trailer

LED lit trailers do not take enough current so low resistances are needed to partially short out the lights. Unfortunately they give off a lot of heat. Can the BCM be re-programmed so the car is more sensitive to the lower currents when say, higher value 120 ohm shorting resistors are fitted across the LED's?

    Hi,

This section is for car audio, so I'd suggest contacting a local reputable auto electrician and looking at the support from the manufacturer of the trailer to see if you can get spec's/advice from them.

    Cheers, Dennis!
