I found a better door card then I have but it's not the correct color. Is it possible to change out the panels? how to re attach the other panel after drilling out the plastic rivets.

Not sure which rivets you are talking about drilling out, but you can take off and put the door card back on without drilling anything. The "plastic rivets" just snap into the door and can be reused. Don't know about how to change the color, but I'm sure a professional could give you a good idea about if it can be done or not and maybe someone on the forum will be able to supply a DIY solution.
