If 2015 is still considered ‘newer’, I like the 228i. Driving, handling, acceleration and just plain fun.

Looking for a replacement for my wife’s F25 X3. It says something that I’m cross shopping BMW with Hyundai. Really BMW, making me pay a subscription fee for CarPlay? It’s not a lot of money, but when everyone else includes it..... The driving experience in the new cars is lacking, and I can’t see paying a premium for a badge.

Drove a friend’s M2C last week, and was unimpressed. Took the back road home in my Golf R and was reminded of just how good the R is.

BMW is the only manufacturer using CarPlay as a subscription model. I will say that wireless CarPlay is nice. Not many manufacturers have that.

What is BMW going to do about the kidney shaped grilles when grilles are obsolete?

    yay
They are huge. They are heavy. They look awful.

Don't want any of the bells and whistles.

    BMW has lost its soul.

I am talking about wireless CarPlay, as in you don’t have to plug your phone into the vehicle with a lightning cable.

Well, despite my reservations about the brand, I just ordered an X5. Glutton for punishment, I guess.

Did you get the self parking option? That and the 360 surround view is legit badass.

I did, although I’m not sure how much control I’m ready to turn over to the car. Call me old school. Or maybe just old....

I’d definitely schedule a session with Genius when you pick it up.

Will probably go one better and do Performance Center delivery again. Genius can provide refresher course!
