If 2015 is still considered ‘newer’, I like the 228i. Driving, handling, acceleration and just plain fun.

Not very well
Looking for a replacement for my wife’s F25 X3. It says something that I’m cross shopping BMW with Hyundai. Really BMW, making me pay a subscription fee for CarPlay? It’s not a lot of money, but when everyone else includes it..... The driving experience in the new cars is lacking, and I can’t see paying a premium for a badge.
Drove a friend’s M2C last week, and was unimpressed. Took the back road home in my Golf R and was reminded of just how good the R is.

What is BMW going to do about the kidney shaped grilles when grilles are obsolete?
They are huge. They are heavy. They look awful.
Don't want any of the bells and whistles.
BMW has lost its soul.

Well, despite my reservations about the brand, I just ordered an X5. Glutton for punishment, I guess.

I did, although I’m not sure how much control I’m ready to turn over to the car. Call me old school. Or maybe just old....
