I have owned this car for about 2 years. Last week it started running very rough. Not knowing what the previous owner had done, I replaced all the plugs, ignition coils and the 4 O2 sensors. The car runs much better but is a little rough when cold and the following codes come up.
P1083, P1085
P1348, P1344, P1352, P1346 and P1250
Is this indicative or a vacuum leak? I'd love any advice on what to look into next.
Many thanks
P1083 Fuel Control Mixture Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P1085 Fuel Control Mixture Lean (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P1344 (Misfire During Start Cylinder 2)
P1346 (Misfire During Start Cylinder 3)
P1348 (Misfire During Start Cylinder 4)
P1250 is more of a general generic code indicating a fuel supply/system fault.
Those codes seem to indicate an intake leak, but the P1250 has me suspecting fuel supply pressure,
so I would perform a fuel pressure test at the fuel rail and observe readings when symptoms occur.
For an intake leak I would check the most common items - rubber intake boot and associated hoses.
Check for intake leaks, don't forget about the secondary air hoses under the back of the Manifold.
Dude. Tip for future. GOOGLE UP THE CODES if your scanner doesn't give them already!!! (It probably does). NOBODY has encyclopedic memory of PeePee codes off top of their head. Dont make us (Miky) be your google bitch.
Almost certainly a vac leak, or, as Miky says - maybe fuel (or perhaps a fading but not failed MAF). An old under maintained car like that probably needs all the vac leak options chased down anyway.

Dude, I wasn't asking each code to be looked up. I was asking in the hopes someone could lead me in a direction where to investigate next. My mistake. The last code should have been P1350, not P1250. The other responders were helpful, you, not so much
My my, mommy raised a sensie little one, with you, didn't she!? Tender booboo got his feelies hurt?
I know you weren't ACTUALLY AXING that, bruv.
But I'm saying when you come in as a n00ber jackass an' jes post the peepee codes you in essence are effectively asking us to look that stuff up.
Srslyz, I"m helpful AF BTW. Even/often/especially to n00berzdooberz w/ 11 posts, when they're being cool that is.
I was just offering the same relatively light hearted ballbusting advice that MANY of us give n00bers if they want more help. I spend hours on here many days helpin guys out. You'd know that if you looked around a bit and didn't just millenial in here with yer "waaah FIX MY CAR DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO" attitude.

GG, do you need a slug of scotch to calm your nerves?

It's Friday,
Maybe a nice tall Long Island Iced Tea with a Jägerbomb chaser?
We could all benefit from the "medicinal properties" of such refreshments...lol.
Good idea.
Scotch starter.
LI Icetea (double please).
Jagerbomb the desert.

I’m with GG on the Nooberino doing some research on the Googligoo pages.
GeeGee is spot on, on the fell off the wagon cocktail dinner too.
And wcplcp, GroinGrinder just has a whacked out way of posting, you just need to grow thicker skin and trust your sense of humor, hopefully you have one. The grinder is just probably one of the posters on here with the most BMW DNA in the brain cell department. So you definitely don’t want to burn that bridge. I’m a whackjob too, so if it seems like I’m screwing with you in the future, just laugh along.
As to your issue, most of the codes are from the injectors demanding fuel, someone posted fuel supply earlier, I would start there too. Fuel pump and fuel filter, probably due with the ages our cars are getting.
Side note: RIP George HW Bush.
He was a cool dude. Back when I was in high school, I was at a party in the US Embassy in the Philippines, out in a courtyard partying with my friends, big fat doobie in one hand, San Miguel beer in the other, and suddenly, here comes a whole entourage of Secret Service, a bunch of aides, and GHW, he was the Vice President at the time, coming towards me, lol, I placed the beer onto my other hand with the illegal substance, reached out my hand and he reached right back out to shake mine. I had just gotten the newest issue of Soldier Of Fortune magazine at the time, in it was a picture of GHW driving one of the M3 Bradley’s, the new at the time armored personnel carriers, “The Bradley Fighting Machine”, with his head sticking out the drivers hatch, wearing a tankers helmet, jumping a berm, 3 feet off the ground. I told him it was so cool, he turns to an aide and tells her to make sure he gets a copy of it. Lol! Never said nothing about the doobie or the beer, shoot, I think I was in 10th grade at the time!
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Cool story Snotty!...RIP G.H.W.B.
Now on the subject of posters not doing their due diligence concerning research, providing complete codes with definitions, complete vehicle information...BMW-model,year,engine,mileage...etc., I will agree that having to do all the legwork so-to-speak, can be quite tiring if I'm not in the mood. My suggestion to all noobs-if you are seeking a quick, informative response: help US, so we can help YOU.
Snottys got all the kewl stories. And I ain't even been out drinkin with him.

To All: it turns out the DISA (sp) was inop with a few cracked hoses. All parts replaced and runs like a new car. zero codes. I'll take all the advice given to heart. By the way, I'm way past being a millennial.
Thanks for posting back with repair solution,
now enjoy driving your like new car!
