    Cool 325I Budget Drift Build

Hey guys! Just created an account and wanted to make a quick post about my 2002 325i and what I have done to make it a fairly capable and budget friendly drift car.

    The basics:

2002 325i sedan stock engine, stock transmission, stock clutch, etc.

    Modifications:

    - Welded automatic Differential
    - Solid subframe bushings (Revshift)
    - Solid transmission bushing (Revshift)
    - Solid Differential Bushings (revshift)
    - Ebay Subframe reinforcement plates
    - Extended E36 front control arms
    - Stock tie rods
    - Amazon angle adapter on knuckle
    - Ebay Coilovers
    - Front Sway bar delete
    - Sparco Seat
    - DND Steering wheel/quick release
    - ASD Inline Hydro Brake Setup

Other than that, this thing is basically stock! If anyone wants more information on how to do any of the modifications above feel free to comment below!

I also have a Coyote Gen II that I will be starting to swap in the car in the next month or so, and I will be videoing my progress, as well as posting on here in case anyone wants to do something similar in the future.

Here are some photos of the car:

I also have a few video's of drift events on my youtube channel: http://youtube.com/dailyignition This is also where I will be posting each stage of the Coyote Swap.

Again if you have any questions let me know! It is a simple car currently, but that will all change once the v8 swap starts!.

Hey dude, we've spoken a bunch lol. Was always surprised you didn't have a thread here. Hope all is well, and the drifting is smokey. Glad to see you finally covered the entire car in stickers!

Curious about the swap- What trans do you plan on using? What diff? Axles?

Keep it simple: half gutted '01 330i, welded diff, BC coils, SLR Super kit

Yeah it's finally covered! Haha the plan is to use the MT82. I'm probably going to do an 8.8 swap but im not sure yet, open to a few options. I'm trying to figure something out where I don't have to get custom axles made but it's looking like I'm going to have to anyways. I don't want in M3 LSD.

Coyote going in for Initial test fit. Mt-82 seems to clear the tunnel just fine, back valve cover is touching the brake booster so I ordered a Chase bays booster delete. That should take care of that issue. I deleted the abs pump as well.

I will post more once the brake booster delete comes in!

I'm going to create a new thread as well because this isn't a "budget build anymore "
