    E90 Navigation/Entertainment system replacement

So I have an E90 (2008) with the standard display in the dash. Looks a bit dated now but I'm aware that there's aftermarket Android units I can have fitted which provide a lot more functionality than the standard unit?

Can anyone recommend any units as a starting point? Also I see CIC and CCC mentioned - how do I know which one I have?

Go to www.realoem.com and enter the last 7 characters of the car’s vehicle identification number. Scroll down to audio. You should be able to tell whether you have the CIC or the CCC.

    Hi,

There's lots of cheapy low quality/generic unit's on ebay/amazon/ali express etc, and reliability and quality is so and so and low respectively.

The brand Zenec do custom fit units which are better quality internals/more reliable and most importantly, they offer proper after sales care, backup and support should you need it.

With the cheapy unsupported ones, it's up to you to try and see if you can fix or resolve any issues as there's no after sales support, but that's the reason they're much cheaper. The Zenec will work fully out of the box and like anything, if there are issues, you will have the company to talk to in order to resolve. Price is much higher of course.

    Cheers, Dennis!

    Hello!!

My ccc went down (first pic of uninstalled radio) in my 2006 bmw 330xi. BMW professional nav model. Does anyone know if i can swap it out with this radio? (second pic) from an 2008 e90 335. The entire fitment into the area looks fine, but not sure if the bracket lines up. Does anyone know?? thank you!
