Need help turning off auto door locks

Car is a 04 X5 (e53). I used NCSExpert to get the info from the GM3 module. Used NCS Dummy to translate it. Everything related to auto door locks is set to Not Active already. There are separate entries for Key1 Key2 Key3 Key4. I have Key1 and I just added a new key (Key7). I would understand if autolock happened with Key7 because it's not entered into the code but it's happening with Key1. I've gone through the entire trace file and everything related to door locks and autolock is set to the correct state.

At this point I haven't made any changes to the code because I can't see anything that needs changing

I remember it not working at first for me on a friends e53 until it went to sleep after the 16min of whatever time it takes and then it started working...

It already works. I want to turn it off. Everything related to auto lock is set to nicht active including all the entries you listed. I must be missing something because it should not be working .

Sorry I meant to disable it... I disabled it and for some reason it did not work until the car went to sleep or the next day was really strange...

I got it fixed. Not sure exactly why but I created a trace file that contains a lot more items to manipulate than it's supposed to and the ones I wanted to change were already set to the correct parameter .

Started from scratch and got the correct TRC file. Turned off auto door locks and it works great

well ty about this thread now i know my GM3 unit is duff. i have 2 units, 1 says boot n doors opened and the other says boot closed and doors opened. Wondered by car would not lock during drive. o w i know it is the GM3 unit that has failed.
