    Catalyst Overheat

today in this very soggy morning drive to work, some roads looked like rivers and crossing created lots of spray/splash/steam.

then a few minutes later my computer tinged and said CATALYST OVERHEAT - SEE OWNERS MANUAL - kinda like when i start the car in the morning.

i dont even have Cats on my 8...

i imagine that the excessive cold water splashing on the exhaust is the culprit? Went away after 5 minutes driving.

never happened before, but im also thinking its nothing to worry about????

Just do what I told you to do this morning and that message will disappear....
