    Re programming?

    I replaced the battery and had it registered to the car. I have trouble now with the trunk,wont stay open,sunroof wont close tightly, other little things. Is there something I need to have done or do myself to get the settings back? Do I need that BMW proprietary scan tool or something?
    Could someone explain the "coding" I see some guys talking about? Thanks for any help for this newby to BMW

    INPA is your friend - Search on eBay, make sure you get the correct cable. The whole setup should be less than $55-$60.
