Ok guys,
I've installed a lot of stereos in my day, but this one is pissing me off. While installing the TR7412UB-OR in my 2001 Z3, it lights up, but no sound from the speakers. The amp works fine when I install the stock stereo or an aftermarket Sony, but no sound from the Continental.
I'm using a Metra 71-1784 on the stereo side and a Metra 70-8590 on the Z3 side.
When hooking the wires up, I'm going color to color, but there is a blue and a blue/white on the stereo side and a blue on the Z3 side. Am I connecting the solid blue to the solid blue or is it the blue/white to the blue on the Z3?

1st you/we need to know what’s what before being able to answer. My initial guess would be something to do with amp switched power (not main power). Afaik it’s a white wire at the amp
Which pin are you referring to. There’s a A & B plug used.

From the TR7412UB-OR
You would need to refer to the pin outs for both the Sony and the continental. If both are identical then I’d double check the splices. Can you identify the pin number I haven’t found a schematic for the harness yet
Just took a meter to every wire and no dropoff from bad splice.
See if the amp remote on (white I believe ) is hot at the amp. So no sound when you use any of the inputs on the continental? Which pins are the blue & blue/white on each adapter
