Hello again. This is the link where i upoaded a video of the final look at the chair before taking it to the tailor(not sure if this is the right word to describe the man who is going to put new leather on it)

    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kq9mitu7j...ASI-xo1Ka?dl=0

ps. i still need to make a wooden part that will hide the rails that are visible when viewing the chair from the front.

Your English seems great to me!

We generally call that kind of oil-and-solvent-borne colored finish a "stain" or an "oil-based-stain" vs a "water-based-stain" which is only really a new thing - in old times all stains were oil based I think....

We also have dyes, but they act differently depending on how you use them and what you mix them with. I will often use some concentrated dye I have diluted into alcohol as a first, layer then finish on top of that with an oil-based stain. The alcohol dye tends to suck into the end-grain more but not soak into the surface as much... so it is a way to make the grain come out more. (same is true to some degree of regular oil-based stain but it seems even more true of the dye in alcohol or water)

We probably would call that an "upholsterer" aka "a person who does upholstery" which is the profession of putting padding and covering onto furniture frames.
