    Front door speaker direct fit

Hello, I want to upgrade front door woofer and tweeter. What have you all put in that is direct fit?

I have low power a/m head unit
so high sensitivity is a plus.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Not enough information to help you currently. Which car do you have? if it's a 530i, which model?

From there, it'll be possible to help but in the meantime, you can look up direct fit speakers from brands such as BSW, Gladen, MTX, Rockford Fosgate, MB Quart, Kicker and other 'BMW Direct Fit Speakers'.

    Cheers, Dennis!

    Thank you Dennis.
My car is 2003 530i sport that came with Navigation, but I installed aftermarket double din. Car came with standard audio.

I’ve also heard BMW stock speakers produce highs and midrange pretty good if the bass is set to flat along with adding s sub woofer. I’m open to either direction.

    Hi,

    E39? or E60? ! (I'll assume E39!!)

Everyone has differing opinions on what's 'pretty good' or 'good' or 'excellent' or 'awesome' ! For me, OEM audio in the E39 is mediocre - even in the top 'M Audio' setup. In my E39, I have zero OEM audio components. For the E60, it's almost the same - the quite popular setup which had 'subwoofers' under the front seats was a step up from the E39, but still, to me, doesn't sound good at all.

It all depends on how well you want your music reproduced, so I'd say go for a full aftermarket setup where you can achieve fantastic/excellent results at a much more reasonable price point than you may currently be thinking. Other's may scoff at my suggestion and urge you to 'mix' OEM with aftermarket etc. Plenty of theads on this forum, so do have a read around and see what you'd like and suits you all for the performance you'd want/like in relation to the budget you are thinking of!

If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to help and advise different options and their associated pro's and con's and I'm sure others will offer their opinion too !

    Cheers, Dennis!
