Hello,
I have a 2000 323ci that I put a m52tub28 into. it has The sport suspension in it, not sure from what or where it came from, a buddy of mine told me about that part, I haven't done much research on anything non-drivetrain yet, bought it with a busted motor and just finished with that swap.
The question is, I live in Minnesota with all of it's snow and the suspension sits very low right now. What are some options for getting it up higher?
As far as how high, I would like maybe 1/2" to 1" more than a normal suspension package for my winter use, and then I'd swap the lower back in for when the snow goes away. Ideally something 500$ or less, if anyone has any leads for aftermarket higher suspension, or if other models came equipped with taller suspension that bolts on.
Buy a set of springs from an XI. It will raise it about 1.5-2" over sport springs.
You'll also need to consider changing the shocks/struts to OEM standards. Maybe get a set of springs and shocks/struts off a junk yard car with standard suspension.

There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.
