Anyone tried RUFF engineering Harmonic Balancer?

I was searching for ATI Super Damper alternatives that can be sourced from this side of the ocean and I came across this:

    Has anyone tried them?
    Are they any good?
Price is quite low but I am not sure if it will be actually better than oem.

The first hint is that the price is significantly lower than OEM. I’m betting the part is made in China. Walk away from it. The harmonic balancer is a critical part of the engine. Buying an el cheapo balancer could damage the engine.

That HB does not appear to be rubber isolated, is the factory HB rubber isolated?

The ATI damper is a complex mechanism comparatively.

There was a ‘White Paper’ out concerning the use of an aftermarket light weight HB for the M/S50/52 engines several years ago suggesting not to use a LW HB on these engines, does this replacement part fall into that category?
The employ of a LW HB and LW FW was an especially bad combo, often resulting in broken crank shafts, as I recall.

The stock harmonic balancer is a two piece with a rubber damper molded in between. It is effective, fairly lightweight and very reliable. On an inline six, think long crankshaft and torsional vibration, that revs as high as 7000 RPM with aftermarket software you would be asking for trouble going aftermarket here.

VAC typically offers ~ 10 % off of list price on ATI dampers over the X-Mass Holiday.
