I have and E21 and early E30 that both have 15 pin diagnostic connectors. Does anyone know of a plug made to fit the 15 pin connector? I know there are adapters that the later 20 pin connectors, but the only thing I've seen to fit the 15 pin versions are the "reset tools" that are basically fancy jumper wires.
Thank you.

Check to see if these guys have them www.bimmerstuff.com/diag-tools/
There are no adapters for ODB1 to ODB2 as the protocols and software are different. So you would have to buy a very expensive scanner to work with an old
BMW (like $700). If you just want to reset the oil change indicator stick a copper wire into 7 and 1 then turn the car on for 3 full seconds (4 if you count fast) and turn it back off. Do that for 12 seconds and it resets the service interval. 1987 and prior use a proprietary 15 pin semi circular connector and there is nothing reasonably priced to connect to it. 1987 325i's use the 20 pin connector the rest of 87 uses the 15.
