yes i have that option.... and want to remove it now that i'm into the heads , with some more room to work …and cooling water drained .
I already removed the additional fuel pump in the past , it was totally corroded. Think ( not sure yet) i can remove 2 water pipes across the engine bay in the back that go in&out the heater , and just connect them again with a sort tube ?
With what was it switched on ? i do not see anything in the car , just a rectangular opening in the dashboard left of the steering wheel …. was the command panel ever there ?
Anybody has done this ? Thanks for tips !

Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
many thanks shogun for the info !!!
seems more complicated as i first tought.... i see water pipes and a valve that can be deleted ( i think ) , and replaced by oem tubes who don't have that option , the majority.
As i sure won't try to make it working ( new fuel pump etc ) , i will try to remove it , if only to avoid water leaks from that system in the future….
if i only informed me better.... when i renewed the fuel pumps unit in the past , i had to cut a tip of and place a tube in it before connecting a hose.... that is the fuel pickup for the independent heater….. so it was not necessary to do that anymore ....
o well, we learn thanks to this forum … that's great !
here i see the hoses and valve i can remove ( and ofcourse the heater itself ) .... on the bottom pics i suppose the 2 hoses i need to make it oem again... ( both called #3) ... but what is the BMW # of those ? Realoem seems rather schematic , i don't see those.... ?
thanks for help ! 001.jpg
