    Downsizing rims

Hey guys new to the forum here and bimmer life in general. I checked the forum and haven’t been able to find an answer but I’m sorry if this has been dealt with already. I just picked up a 2011 328i xdrive last week, and with it being winter time in Canada I’m in need of some snow tires. I’m looking at purchasing an extra set of oem rims. My car currently has 17” rims with 255/40/17 rears and 225/45/17 front I believe. Most of the wheel options I’m finding for sale are all oem 16s off e90s, and I just wanted to confirm fitment with downsizing to a 16” rim. I’m mostly worried if mine was purchased with fancier options the rotors might be bigger or something and cause fitment issues? Any advice would help! Thanks guys
