Four members of this board got together on a cold Florida Afternoon. (Temp was below 70 degrees!) Serge, Abdul, Jeff and myself drove our E 32's about 2 hrs each way to meet up in Port St Lucie to have lunch.
We spent about 2 and a half hours going over each of our cars and then enjoying lunch together. The cars were great but the conversation may have been even better.
This is why I have said for years "It is not about the cars it is about the people". It was a most enjoyable drive and day. We have to do it again soon.
Thank you guy's!
Zieg
Sounds like you guys had a blast! ... we had snow yesterday...yay! (Sarcastim) hahah

Was great meeting you all for the first time, fantastic set of cars everyone had! All unique and each with its own story. Enjoyed having lunch and talking non car related topics too. Hope to do this someday again before the vintage!
I have a few photos that I will also upload sometime tomorrow and a few videos of Croughton (Jeff) and I driving up to meet the others.

Hey Cory;
While you were not here in person you were here in spirit! Were your ears ringing! We actually had a conversation about you 740i 5 speed conversion and the fantastic job you did on your car.
Happy Thanksgiving Zieg

It was great meeting up with Jeff, Serge, and Bob. We definitely have to do it again sometime. And Cory you have an amazing example of an E32 740.
Not sure how many E32's we can get for Vintage 2019 but it will still be nice to meetup with everyone and just have a good time and to enjoy the company.

Cory;
You could always take both!
Same here. Cars are tucked in until April 2019.
Well, this president is up for re-election. And I agree with Z that you should bring both. Actually, no. You, Cory, should come with the E32 and Marissa should drive the E30. She can do it!
P.S. How's the smell?
P.P.S. Three months ago I reserved my hotel for next year's vintage.
You guys are lucky to have each other, I feel like the only E32 enthusiast in Virginia, meanwhile shogun may be the only e32 enthusiast in Japan haha
My intention is to rent the same Air B&B as last year. Saturday night pizza party at my place!
Sometimes it can feel lonely, but that's where this forum comes in. Why don't you join us in Asheville next year? It's only a 6h drive from Richmond. I think it was the previous owner of your car who said that he never saw another E32 and then suddenly there were seven of them. He was quite happy. I don't know any E32 in Virginia either, but there is vwleadfoot in Maryland who lives a 2h drive from you. shogun has a whole other E32 family over there in Japan. Sometimes he even posts links to E32 repair guides written in Japanese in this forum. These links tend to have lots of pictures and that makes them helpful regardless of the language.
Ohoho, un autre quebecois! I will try to make it next year, I could not in previous year because I had to attend my sister's graduation.
I like that the E32 community is small, more tight-knit. Everybody and their mother has been involved with E30s and E36s, E32s are special I think. I may be adding E23 or E24 in the future.

Looks like fun! That last photo looks amazing.
Indeed! There's a tiny little detail in this picture that to me makes all the difference between a regular shot and a good one: the orange "Uneven Lanes" sign that perfectly balances the car.
For the Northerners (Cory & J.F.) I'd like to suggest another meeting: the Vintage at the Saratoga Automobile Museum on 13 July 2019. That was the first show I ever attended with my E32 in 2015: I drove there on the day I passed the SAAQ and got the car registered. J.F., this could be a one-day trip for you, leave early in the morning and be back home by 7 or 8pm.
I agree. I've been taking pictures of my E32 for almost 29 years now. But I have to tell you.......Serge took this shot while coming up to pass me on the turnpike. It's the best picture I've ever had. The only one ever at 70mph. It's already the wallpaper on my desktop. Can not thank him enough.

I wish I had been aware of this, would love to meet up with group in the Tampa area
What is the small air intake below the fog light on the light blue car?
HTRDMBR;
There will be a drive to Yallaha Bakery for Toys for tots run by Central Florida BMW Owners on December 8th. We usually take a nice drive and get there around noon to 12:30. I am planning on going maybe Abdul can make it also. It was about a 90 minute drive from my home in Trinity maybe you could join us. Just a thought!
Oh man, awesome pictures! I'm only about an hour north of Port St Lucie! I'd love to join you guys for a get together once I have my e32 manual swap project finished.
