was inspecting under the car.
And i see some dried coolantcoming from two hoses going to something that looks plastic.
Its not the HCV. Its looks like its attached to the manifold.
Its only visible from the bottom of the car.
What is this thing ?
I looked at OEM diagram cant find it.

Has your car ever been modified by a previous owner? The only coolant pipes under your intake manifold connect to your throttle body. One rubber line goes from the throttle body to your head. The other, goes to a hard coolant line. You also have coolant going to a water valve on the firewall.

actually the two hoses are below the manifold. This is a 328i .
